The conference is at the University of Huddersfield, Queensgate, Huddersfield, HD1 3DH, in the UK. The main conference venue is the Oastler Building, the entrance is the other side of the building shown below.

The Oastler Building is building 37 on this CampusMap. It is near the entrance to the University, which is in Huddersfield city centre.

Huddersfield is in West Yorkshire, in the north of England.

The closest airport is Manchester Airport, and a good train services runs to the train station in Huddersfield. The train station is a 15 minute walk from the Conference Venue. Train travel from London can be very expensive (over £100), I don’t recommend you fly to London if you can avoid it. It may be cheaper for international visitors to fly to Manchester, even if you need to get a separate flight from London to Manchester.

The M1 and M62 motorways are near Huddersfield, which makes driving relatively easy.

You can find details on train times in the UK at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk

Trains are considerably cheaper if you book in advance and book two single tickets at specific times, rather than a return.

Coaches from London airports are good value: https://www.nationalexpress.com/en

For Car Parking I recommend the car park at Colne Road, West Yorkshire, Huddersfield, HD1 3AY, which is very good value. Parkopedia can also help with car parking. You can park for free on Newsome Road (higher up the hill, lower down it is permit only parking) Huddersfield, HD4 6NB. It is a 10 minute walk from here.
